Yoni in Ancient Sexual Texts
As various sexual texts would have it, there are different yoni types. Some texts differentiate yoni types in astrology terms based on when you were born in proportion to the lunation cycle, or moon mansions or "Manzils".

These kinds of ancient sexual texts often prescribe that there be some serious consideration prior to marriage based on the yoni type of the woman and the lingam or penis type of the man.

Unions based on these recommendations are believed to encourage happy relationships. Some adherents to this practice suggest that many failed relationships would be prevented if we adhered to matching a given yoni type with the complementary lingam.

Yoni Types in the Ananga Ranga

In the Ananga Ranga(1), both men and women are divided into three types based on their genitalia. The three types of yoni are classified according to the depth and extent of the yoni which corresponds to the three types of lingam or the phallus of men.

If you have the first type of yoni or Mrigi (or Harini), your vagina is likely six fingers in depth, fleshy, and smells like the perfume of a lotus flower, and you may also be addicted to love making.

If you have the Vadava (or Ashvini) type of yoni, your vaginal canal is about nine fingers deep, while your vaginal fluids also smell of lotus flower perfume, and you are rather spontaneous and versatile in love making, it may take more to aroused you to the point of orgasm.

If you have the Karini type of yoni, your vaginal canal may be about twelve fingers long and your vaginal secretions are ever flowing. Though you are easily excited, your type of arousal may leave you frustrated as you aren't so easily satisfied sexually unless you make love with a male of corresponding length and desires.
